In 2008, Mark Bailey, his son Keenan, and friend Allen Gould, joined together to create Carlton Cyderworks. The variety of cyders we make means that there is something for everyone – from the newbie to the most discerning palate.
In 2008, Mark Bailey, his son Keenan, and friend Allen Gould, joined together to create Carlton Cyderworks. We had limited experience, but our enthusiasm more than made up for it. Our goal has always been to make cyder that we want to drink – not getting stuck on “style” or “tradition” but instead focusing on the fruit and the ferment. The variety of cyders we make means that there is something for everyone – from the newbie to the most discerning palate. We only ferment fresh pressed juice, never concentrate, and we never add artificial ingredients. In 2013, Richard Creaser and Nick Maldonado joined the company, and currently they head up the sales department.
